EPISODE 5: 12 Areas of Life Balance
In this episode of “Our Reimagined Life,” we kick off our mini-series on finding happiness from within by exploring the 12 Areas of Life Assessment. After intuitively receiving the word “Happiness” as the key to helping our listeners, I delve into how assessing various areas of life can reveal where we need more balance and where we can focus to increase our overall happiness. I share my personal journey of living for others’ validation and how shifting to living for my own happiness has transformed my life.
The 12 Areas of Life Assessment involves rating different aspects of your life on a scale of 1 to 10, then dreaming big about what you want in each area. This exercise aims to bring awareness to parts of your life that may need more attention and to help you start setting goals for improvement. By highlighting the lowest-scoring areas, you can focus on making positive changes over the next 12 weeks. I also discuss the importance of reflecting on high-scoring areas to celebrate and understand what’s working well.
